RELATIONSHIPS

Song: God bless the Broken Road by: Rascal Flatts

In healthy relationships you will feel:
  • Built up -- the relationship helps you become who God wants you to be.
  • Drawn closer to others in a healthy way
  • Mutual trust, respect, vulnerability, and balanced sense of give and take.
    • Are safe -- emotionally, physically
    • Have boundaries that are respected
    • Draw you closer to God -- helping Christian singles to grow spiritually.
    • Do not compromise your Christian values

Favor

Song "Favor of the Lord" by:Israel Houghton

Proverbs 18:
12 I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.s13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.15 By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.16 By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:s21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

God wants to bless his people.  There are those that think the more poor you are the more christianly you are.  The truth is we will go through trial, tests, hard times, and even poverty, but that is not where God wants us to stay.  He has laid up treasures and inheritances, that belong to us.  He speaks of taking the riches of the evil and the world and giving it to HIS people.

The thing is, God has to do a work in our hearts to teach us wisdom, knowledge and understanding, to be able to handle having large money coming through our hands.  He doesn't want to bless us and then we become arrogant and think we don't need him.  We have't to be to the place that we are able to be obedient when he says release it.  There is a trust that must be, between God and us.

I don't know about you, but I have lived in poverty long enough.  I am ready for the riches of God's Kingdom.  I am ready to further God's Kingdom.  The world thinks they have the best of everything but God is about to raise up a generation with money, backing them, that is going to surpass anything the world has done.  We are a creative, trail blazing generation.  Things are new and fresh from the Throne.  We aren't living off of yesterdays schedule, protocol.  We are receiving a Today Word, Today Song, a Today sound from heaven.  Technology belongs to the Church and the gifts and talents are coming forth fresh with the fire of heaven.

Whatever it takes to get to that place that God says ok....I am making you responsible over this inheritance....I want it.  I want to reach communities, our Country and Nations.  It takes money and I know God is going to start releasing more and more money to the Church to do his work.

Best advice I can give right now is....prayer, study Proverbs, fast, and be obedient to God no matter what.

THE COVER

Song - Alabaster Boc by: Cece Winans

I have read many books.  The saying you can't judge a book by it's cover....is very true.  I have learned to not even consider the cover as a judgement.  I read the reviews, I read the preface.

Many like to cookie cut things.  Like we are all are in an assembly line.  What they forget is that God like uniqueness. If you don't believe me, look at nature.  Some of the strange looking creatures under the sea.  How different the insects look with all their strange shapes, sizes and colors.  Try to find a snow flake that is exactly like another.  We are all different in so many ways, no matter what the things we have in common.

Everyone comes from different circumstances. Some have been raised in a rich environment, some in poverty.  Some have college degrees, others never even finished school.  Some are proper, others are rough around the edges.  Some  are tall, others are short.  Some are skinny, some not so much...lolol  Some are gifted with music others can't carry a tune.  Some can write elegant words to soothe the ears, others can't form a good sentence.

So to judge or put limits on what God can do through each other, is foolishness.  God knows where each of us are.  He knows what we lived in, walked through, and experienced and most importantly, where he is taking us to.  That is why he IS the judge, and decider of our lives.

You can see a homeless, drunk on a bench, disregard him, but God may see a Missionary willing to give up everything for the one who rescues him.

You may see a prostitute and think such a shame.  God may see a lonely heart, that will adore him till the day she dies...for changing her and giving her a new life.

You may see a drug addicted person, alcoholic driven, porn pervert, and be disgusted.  God sees a chance to flex his spiritual muscles and show them that he is the GREAT I AM.  He can change their perspective, the view and desires.  Give them a new life to walk in purity and peace.

Every time I see someone walking down the street, or when I look over into the car next to me, some times it's in a doctors office, or standing alone....I whisper....God save them, change them, provide for them and restore them.

We, as people really haven't much, but temporal things to offer.  Help when you can but never fail to take them to the one who can change them forever....THE GREAT I AM.

Song - "At Your Feet" by: Clint Brown

TAKE ME TO THE KING

I take care of my parents, pets, and try to nurture my Children to be all they can be for God, yet there is something that feels so restless inside.

I know that after all I have walked through....after all I have experienced...maybe there's not much to offer....but my heart aches to always be in the Presence of the one who delivered me.

After you have become intimate with the Lord you can never go back to things in the norm.  It is more and more of him you crave.  More of his glory.  More of his presence operating in and through you.

No matter what I have or ever will face.  I know where to run to ....when I am feeling alone, hurt, worn, rejected, down, empty, broken......all I can utter is...."Take me to the King"  ...he'll know what to do.  He knows just want I need and where to heal me.

Song- "Take me to the King by: Tamela Mann

  "TAKE ME TO THE KING"

Born with purpose and set aside,
yet pushed away, feeling forgotten,
closing my eyes praying this isn't a lie.
That life will reveal truth,
and purpose will go with me till I die.

I was called as a child so tender,
not yet defiled and abused
Not knowing I would one day need the heart mender
to help me not feel so confused.

I don't need a shrink, or profound words quoted to me,
They can't reach were it hurts, that deep part you can't see,

I don't need lectures on what I could have done,
or if I would only have differently begun.

You can't change me over night,
Make me into your perfect protege,
I am who God created and he doesn't make mistakes
When he created me he got it all right.

I'm not perfect never will be that image you have in your head,
I work more on the inside because I have been crippled, walk with a limp
I try to be the Proverbs Women and praying till the old me is dead.

God saw me in a heap of nothingness, laying in a pile,
So glad my God recycles what others throw out as no good
He'll go to the deepest depths to rescue you, he'll go that extra mile.

I'm not what I want to be,
not what I could be,
but I am where I am supposed to be.

So when you see me down, or struggling, or in a fight,
don't hesitate to take me to the King....
He's the one that will make me more than alright.

GRANDPA MILLER

My Momma, Sister and I would go to see my Grandpa Miller at times.  He looked very German.  He had a rough, scary look on his face sometimes, lolo, but when he talked to me, he was a very kind Man.

Every time we went over there he would tell me to hold my dress out in front of me and he would dump change that he had in a tin glass, full.  It was like those old gold, green, and red tin cups.  It was always quite a bit of money for such a little girl.  It thrilled me to no end...lolol

He would take me to see my cousin, Peggy, her ducks and birds she had.  I loved the house she lived in.  It was absolutely beautiful.

I never knew Grandpa in a deep relationship but always held high regards of him.  I could tell he really loved Momma.  We would sometimes take Grandpa to the store and such.  It was always good to spend time with him.

He never talked much of his family.  I know he had brothers but there must have been a dispute or something because he didn't speak of the.  It was very sad because when never knew his family.

Momma said Grandpa would go pick cotton in Arkansas fields.  That he worked very hard.  He would make them really good taffy for a special time.  He would gather snow and put syrup on them for a treat too. lolol  He sounded very special.

Grandpa Miller was the only Grandparent I can remember.  Momma's Momma, died when she was 7 years old.  Daddy's Dad died before I was born, and his Momma dies when I was only 2 years old.  So I don't have memories of them.  That is why my Uncles and Aunts were alot like Grandparents to me.  They were always special.

I'll never forget when Grandpa Miller took Momma, my Sister and myself to Disney World.  We had such a great time.  We ate at the Polynesian Restaurant.  It was great memories.  Grandpa bought me this glass flower.  I still have it to this day.  Dearly wish that I had had more time with him.  He died when I was 15 years old.  Just a time of thinking of family.  Miss ya Grandpa Miller.

Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding.

Song - "My Steps are Ordered" by: Fred Hammond

I am reading Proverbs now, and over and over it instructs us to get wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
You can have book knowledge but not totally understand what you have read.  You can have book knowledge, and understand what you have read but not know how to apply it.

Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding is a great gift of God.  He will open it up unto us when we pray and ask for it.  As we read his word it becomes more clear to us and how to apply it to our lives daily.

Knowledge is information or a fact, Understanding is what the Holy Spirit opens up to you, and Wisdom is what you do with the Knowledge and Understanding. It is how you apply it.

Wisdom-

  1. The quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise.
  2. The soundness of an action or decision with regard to the application of such experience, knowledge, and good judgment.

Knowledge-

  1. Information and skills acquired through experience or education; the theoretical or practical understanding of a subject.
  2. What is known in a particular field or in total; facts and information.

Understanding-

The ability to understand something; comprehension
