I had lost my job and was struggling. Not too long after, I lost my car. I went about 2 and a half years without a car. The only way we had around, my sister, Cindy, would come up weekly and take us to get groceries or do whatever running we needed. God bless her richly for being so kind.
So if you have lost, or about to loose, don't be afraid. God has creative miracles waiting on your situation. Just trust him and declare what he is going to do. He is restoring to those who will trust him.
That's my car. The elderly lady who owned it before me, named her pearl. So I continue the tradition and thank God for Pearl. :o)
So we sat in 4 walls day and night. Having to learn to be creative with stuff. Playing games together, talking, listening to music, gardening...etc...whatever kept us sane. lolol It was a growing time for us. A time to slow down and listen to God. A time to learn to trust God.
I began to pray for a car. I knew God was able and I started declaring to my kids and all who would listen that God was going to provide a car. I knew he was able to give me a car. Where we lived there was no lynx buses, nor anyone to catch a ride with. So I couldn't get a job, yet I couldn't get a car without a job. It was like being stuck in a pit. If you haven't been there you won't understand the frustration and hurt.
I refused to believe that God was going to leave us there. I was willing to walk through it, but not stay there.
I had been collecting unemployment and had paid my taxes on it. So when tax return came in, I began to let ppl know I was looking for a cheap vehicle. Just one that ran. I figured it would look like a wrecked mess, but didn't care if it got us from point A to point B.
A friend of mine whom I used to work with, said her niece was selling her Mother in laws car. That it was a 96 but still running good. They wanted about $1000.00. So we went to go see it. I drove up and didn't see a junk car and thought well it must be in back. When I went in, they said they had gotten it cleaned up and the person had pressured washed the motor and it wasn't running right. They felt bad selling me a bad car so they only wanted $200.00. They took me outside to see my car and it was a 96 Lexus. She had said it was a Lexus but it never registered that it was a nice car. It was beautiful. I had never had a car that nice even though it was older. I drove it and saw that it ran bad. But the Holy Spirit just kept pushing me to buy it. So I did. I took it home and parked it.
My friend, called me and said "Look take it to my husband's shop and get an estimate to see what it is going to cost to fix it". So I did. They took me out to take it for a drive. It ran beautifully. I asked what I owed they said nothing. My friend had paid for it. I pray many many blessings upon her and her family. She was so kind to do that. She has such a tender heart to God.
God is amazing!!!!! So I got a beautiful car for $200.00. Don't tell me my God can't work miracles. He didn't give me junk. He gave a beautiful car. He gave a beautiful gift for trusting him.
It was one of the most awesome miracles I had seen in my life.
