PEOPLE

When you are called to Minister to people, you have't to learn all the different personalities.  You have't to learn how to flow and work in a positive way with all people.  It isn't always easy but you grow as a person when you do.

I've had to learn to have a tender heart but tough skin, so that I wouldn't be offended easily.  It doesn't mean I won't ever get hurt, or disappointed, it just means I know how to get over it.  That is very important in ministry.  People will say, do or not do things and you could be offended but you have't to learn not to take things personally and keep going.  It doesn't mean I will keep exposing myself to people that hurt or have alot of growing to do...for I may chose not to in situations.  There will be times when you don't have a choice and you have't to square your shoulders and grow so more.

I guess that is what makes the world so diverse.  People with different views, different approaches, different thoughts, and reactions.  When we can learn to unite, we can conquer and overcome so much.  Sometimes it takes a while but it can be done.  When people pray and put others first....there comes understanding and respect.

Respect is a must when you are dealing with people.  Knowing their place, understanding, their authority and allowing them to grow right where they are.  Just because they may be a Leader, Teacher, Preacher or even Pastor, doesn't mean their perfect.  They will always have places to grow in.  We all do.  When you allow those you work with and under ample time to grow, adjust and expand.....Respect will come.

My prayer for all tonight is that God give you the Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding...to unite one with another in the Kingdom, knowing we all are trying to accomplish the same thing.  Different approaches, tastes, styles...but the same message.
