JOSEPH:
I believe alot of people can relate to the story in the bible of Joseph. He was given dreams and visions from God of what would be. He told of them, and no one believed him. In fact everything but the visions began to happen. The jealousy of his brothers lead him to a pit and then to be sold as a slave. It was a confusing, painful time.
That was not what God showed him. That was not the reigning he was given dreams of. Joseph never dreamed of having to walk through such pain, rejection, betrayal and loss. It was in that time of journey that God was teaching him some of the greatest lessons in life.
1. Adjust- wherever you are adjust. You don't have't to stay there but have a grateful heart no matter where you are in life.
2. Trust- Trusting God when everything looks the total opposite of what God showed you. Trust even though you can't see God's hand work or the outcome.
3. Be a Vessel of God- Even in jail, Joseph allowed God to use him and minister to people. His situation didn't stop the flow of God in his life.
4. Don't get tripped up- The enemy will always set a snare and you have't to be wise enough and have the discernment to know when to walk away and say not.
5. Manifestation will come- God did deliver him out of jail and set him up to reign 2nd to command.
6. Forgiveness- Even though he had been treated cruelly, and disregarded, God still required him to forgive the ones who hurt him the most. He had to see that what the enemy meant for his destruction...God meant for his elevation.
We have't to grow into where God wants us to be. There are issues in our lives that we have not dealt with, we must recognize and heal from. There are people and things that we must shed. There are security blankets that must be packed away, and character built in us for such a great cause.
I encourage each of you to know that whatever God has declared over your life, it will be. There may be road construction on the way, potholes, growing to do....but you must continue trust and let God be God and fulfill his declarations and promises over your life his way.
